Welcome to Ultimate Vocal Mentorship!

At The Inner Voice Collective, we do private lessons a little differently than other studios.

To create a real change in your body, mind, and voice, we believe that weekly lessons are absolutely necessary to allow the magic of our methods to take effect.

Ultimate Vocal Mentorship is 3, 6, or 12 months of weekly lessons, but many singers extend their programs depending on how deep they want to go with their unique goals in mind.

But no matter how long you stay at TIVC, we can guarantee that you will feel BIG changes in your voice.

We pride ourselves on not only getting singers results vocally, but also being a one-stop-shop for singers.

You're getting a voice specialist, performance coach, & mentor all in one!

Ages 10-12 will be accepted if they are approved through an interview process to see if they are the right fit for the program.

What are the program options?

There are three levels of UVM -

  • Discover: 3 Months (12 Lessons)

  • Evolve: 12 Months (48 Lessons)

Each program has the option to extend/renew for more time.

How long are lessons?

Your weekly lesson is 45-minutes of active teaching/coaching time, with an additional 15-minute window built-in.

(You receive a 60-minute block in the schedule at the same day/time each week)

The 15-minute additional window is there in case of late starts, technical issues (on zoom), and/or for writing lesson notes or other admin tasks on your behalf.

What else is included?

  • Song Idea Library By Genre

Depending on the program length that you choose, you will expect to invest between $325-$375 per month.

The only options for payment is monthly or paying in full at the start of your program.

FAQ's

Where is TICV located?

We are based in San Diego, California and also travel frequently to the Naperville, Illinois area (exact addresses are given after enrollment).

If you are not close to those locations, then its no problem since we are pre-dominantly an online lesson space!

Online lessons are through Zoom and require no special equipment other than a laptop that can support Zoom or other similar applications.

How are lessons structured?

Since I work with singers for extended periods of time, I find it important to establish a solid vocal assessment and create a warm-up/technique plan during that first lesson.

After the first 1-2 lessons, I like to move pretty quickly into work with songs to work on technique application.

A typical lesson might look like:

  • Coming to your lesson already generally warmed up

  • Technique exercises or warm-ups if needed (10-20 minutes)

  • Song work & technique application (25+ minutes)

Based on a singer's goals, there may be some lessons dedicated to things like:

  • Storytelling strategies for musical theatre singers

  • Audition book & rep planning

  • Prep for upcoming auditions

  • Nervous system work & performance anxiety tools

  • Filming self-tapes & recording

Can I change lesson days or times?

Yes! We can accommodate schedule changes at any point during your program and there is no limit on how many you can do (there is a small admin fee per schedule change).

What is the cancellation policy?

You need to give 48 hours of notice for a standard cancellation to be able to receive a make-up credit.

If you have to cancel due to being sick, you can give 24 hours notice to still receive a make-up credit.

What if I don't finish my program?

In the rare case that a singer can't complete their UVM commitment, there will be an incompletion fee applied depending on the circumstance.

If you just need to stop for a short-period of time due to an emergency situation, then there is an option to temporarily pause your program.

There is also the option to pause before starting another lesson program for a small fee if you need time in-between.

Ultimate Vocal Mentorship Testimonials

"If you’re looking for a talented voice teacher, Nikki is it. My daughter has been a part of her studio for three years and we couldn’t be more pleased. She got accepted into every single vocal performance program she auditioned for and they all gave her significant scholarships!

Her patience, kindness, and professionalism continues to amaze me. She makes your child feel safe and cared for while teaching them to be amazing vocalists."

Jamie H.

Texas, U.S.A

"I hadn't sung in a long time and was never trained, and therefore had a lot of doubts and negative emotions surrounding singing. Nikki took me through many different paths and exercises to help me work through those feelings. We've jumped from style to style... anything that feels right at the time. It's been great to really explore and work through my insecurities to feel more comfortable singing and improving."

Dana P.

Georgia, U.S.A

"We started from the ground up and the progress I've made compared to where I started is night and day and I couldn't have done it without her help."

Brylee M.

New Mexico, U.S.A

"The time I have had so far TIVC has been great! I get to work towards my goals and what I want to achieve, and I really feel that the lessons are adapted to my wishes. As well as there is a lot of support and encouragement."
